I took one with my hubby and it was very informative but soooo long
It depends how long it'll take. You wanna finish maybe 32-35 weeks? Not so early you forget things but early enough you get done before labor. You can do online classes with Birth Boot Camp or check to see if there is an instructor in your area.
We did ours at 26 weeks through the birth center. It was the last free course they were offering. We learned about labor. What to expect , natural pain management (techniques for husband to do on wife... Like a pressure point on the lower back, etc...). We learned about pregnancy tea, perineal massage so you don't need an episiotomy & reduce chances if tearing. When to call (5-1-1) etc... It was quite informative.
I never took any classes and this will be vag delivery #3, but I also opted for epidurals. My hospital offers classes available throughout the entire pregnancy. I would say depending on how many weeks the classes are, around 30 weeks just to be on the safe side.
