I just cannot get over it. I am SO glad I bought a Doppler. Anytime I use it I am smiling from ear to ear. I love love love this little baby and hearing that heartbeat just makes my day <3

I have researched into it a lot. I cannot find anything other than doctors sometimes don't want you to use it for fear of it stressing you out if you don't hear the heartbeat. Or if something does go wrong and you use the doppler (and hear something false) instead of calling your doctor. Most things say extensive use isn't good. But using it weekly or less for a small period of time (like I said I only use it for 10-15 seconds) won't hurt. That's why I have set boundaries for myself

Are they safe? I mean, I have heard using them and ultrasounds too frequently can cause fetal stress.

I try my hardest not to use it lol. And when I do give in I only use it for like 10-15 seconds. Otherwise I'd be too addicted lol

Oh and I got it when I was 12 weeks and heard the heartbeat with no problem. I know other ladies have heard it as early as 10 weeks though

I have had 2 miscarriages and none of the doctors seem concerned and waiting 5 weeks between appointments was torture. This has calmed my nerves and I've been able to relax and feel confident in my pregnancy. My hubbys gone a lot (military) so this doppler really has been the best thing ever for me
