when your water breaks.

This is my 5th child but i have had my water broken while layin in the hospital bed so i really dont kno what it feels like other than a big pressure release. Can someone explain the feeling when it breaks on its on? Are you able to tighten up down there and hold it back or in like if you were stopping urself from peein?

Mine leak out slow all day but bad enough for a pad. And happen everytime I stood up.. never a big gush and my stomach never felt different until contractions..when I got to Hospital I was at a 5

Im with ya Jessi. This is baby #5 for me too and I worry all the time that I have no idea what it's like to have my water break. Mine has always been broken, at the hospital, in active labor.
I was wondering this- what if it breaks while you're in the shower?! Lol

All my waters broke early and it was just a little trickle I didn't even realize it was happening I thought it was normal pregnancy discharge. Every one is different.

Its pretty much feels like a big gush of water. N it will keep going u have no control over it at all... Lol when my water broke with my first pregnancy that is exactly how it is was with me. But everyone is different...
