My first slept in his crib and that's what im going to do again. it worked best for us.
Pack and play for two months then own room in a crib when we move
I co sleep.. for us it is safer because we check on baby more... babies who co sleep also sleep longer and seem more comfortable because the bed is softer and smells like mom. When I was sick as a child my mom put me in her bed and the smell of her even at 8-10 year's old made me feel better. Babies will let you know what is best for them, trust baby's instincts on feeding and sleeping. Different things are right for different babies and families.
I have a bassinet and a crib in my room. I'm sure she will be in the bassinet closer to us for the first couple months then we will put her in the crib. Eventually she will go to her crib upstairs but that won't be until she's sleeping through the night.
I put the crib and changing table in my room for now since I will be exclusively breasrfeeding, but I also have a packnplay with bassinet for the livingroom if I need it.
In till I get him on a routine he will be sleeping in a play pen next to my bed then I will move him to his crib in his room
