The baby may not take back to the breast if you introduce a bottle too soon. You should wait about 6-8 weeks before introducing a false nipple if you want to breast feed.
do you think the baby will get confused if you breastfeed and give him formula
I didn't breastfeed my first born and yes I get really annoyed sometimes when I hear friends worship breastfeeding and criticizing formula. Let me tell you! My son is as healthy as he can be. He is strong, tall, yes taller than average kids of his age group. He did not get any more sick than any kids that were breastfeed. Formula can be very expensive until they are able to eat baby foods. For this second baby, I'm planning on doing both formula and pump. It's a personal choice. I don't feel comfortable breastfeeding and formula is as good as breast milk this these days. Do what feels right for you. Good luck!
thank you ladies for your advice
What's best is what suits you and your family. I tried breastfeeding with my son and my situation due to my complications he wasn't thriving. It was a massive relief when I had to try formula and found many of the negatives were untrue in my experience. All anyone wants is a happy mum and healthy bub however you choose to achieve it.
I think you cant also take any medication or medicines right because I think I could go to the baby I don't know I don't know anything about breastfeeding I never breastfed so this will actually be my first time to breastfeed when my baby comes out
O n u might have to give up caffeine cuz i heard if u drink caffeine the bb may not sleep when u want them to cuz they'll b hyper. I don't drink caffeine so idk if its true or not.
Breastfeeding is always better cuz it has alot of benefits for u n bb! U know breast milk is a good source of medicine cuz u can clear up acne, ear infections, pink eye etc the list goes on the bb will also hardly get sick.when u breastfeed u can always push the skin on ur boob down so the bb can breath cuz i was also afraid of suffocating the bb when i breastfed my second son.
I think im gonna try it when my lil one comes out
Im breastfeeding my 11 week old it was hard at frist but get easy as you go breast milk is great for the baby has lots of good nutrition the baby needs :-)
I drank coffee and even alcohol ocassionally. It's fine! I even had alcohol test strip for my milk because I was paranoid that a glass of wine would show in milk lol. You don't have to be as restrictive as you do when pregnant. And the calorie burn is amazing!
Breastfeeding is always better because it's made specifically tailored to your baby's needs. I had to pump for a whole year cuz my babe was early and wouldn't latch and you know he hasn't had an ear infection ever and didn't catch even one cold while I was pumping for him. I babysat 2 little girls on formula and they were constantly sick (and so was I!), but my son never got it. Which was great cuz his lungs weren't in tip top shape from being so early! Formula isn't the devil though so if you do decide to do that there is no shame in it :)
Im still pregnant its just something that me and my husband are talking about he wants me to try to breastfeed because I know with formula it gives babies more gas
Breastfeeding also reduces the need to burp as often as a bottle fed baby and they hardly ever spit up. As far as your concern with smothering your baby don't worry. I was a D before my milk came in and now I am an E. You just lean their head back and they are fine. Or else, I enjoy lying him across my chest and belly during feeding time, that wY I get to lean back and rest.
Of course breastfeeding is better. I am on day 11 and my nipples aren't sore anymore. As far as caffeine just try and limit your intake just as you did while pregnant.
I've heard that breastfeeding is better because it gives the baby more than what the formula does
But what I have to give up coffee I mean I don't drink so you know that's no problem but a coffee or anything with caffeine do i have to give it up
Breast is always best! You can always pump and bottle feed if you are uncomfortable with breast feeding. Not sure about the coffee. I think you need like 24 hours to clear your system before you can feed. Or try switching to decaf
breast is always best and you wont suffocate the baby as long as your paying attention.. but im going to try amd breastfeed i remember with my last son it hurt so bad so i switched to formula but i miss that closeness with him so with this one im going to try a lil longer as well as pumping and work and all that hopefully i can do it
I've done both and I'd say breast feeding is way better! It's overwhelming at first but it's so good for the baby and convenient and a lot cheaper!
Im just curious about if breastfeeding is better than formula feeding
