How do u guys feel about having a glass of wine? At 29 weeks?

It definitely isn't just America that has an issue with drinking during pregnancy. I live in Britain and the Dr's and midwives here have a zero tolerance policy on alcohol. There haven't been enough studies to prove if there is a safe amount of alcohol or what that is.
As long as you can live with the decision to drink then it's completely upto you. I personally couldn't deal with the guilt and what ifs.

Everyone has there preference. When I had my first child I traveled to Italy with a tour group. And while I was there I had wine. I must of had two of three glasses. The glasses weren't big.

Definitely ask a doctor but I have wondered this myself .. My sciatica is bad and I wish I could take something stronger than Tylenol or be able to sit in a hot tub but I can't ... I don't see the hurt in 1 glass in the second trimester after all I have worked with people who have mentally disabilities for 5 years an d some of the parents of those people drank every day or regularly enough to cause issues ... Its regular exposure to alcohol or nicotine or other harmful chemicals you put into your body that extremely affects your baby... But like I said ask a doctor they are professionals that go off facts instead of their opinions of course everyone on here will say to not do it ! Those are public opinions get professional confidential advice ;-)

I've had a glass but really I don't just want one So I didn't see the point!  But I'd ask my doc and see what they thought cause my doc said it was fine to have a glass now and then! But go with what they tell u!

Sexiidiiva. I've lived on two different continents, neither of them an America. It's definitely frowned upon.
I have been told before that there's no proven safe amount of alcohol to have while preg. As with many safety warnings, you make a choice and have to be able to live with yourself if something does go wrong. I would hate to be in that situation personally.

I hear diff reviews. If you can stay away from it do so. If not 1 glass shouldn't hurt. Only America looks down on drinking while pregnant outside of America it's not looked down on as long as you drink in moderation

My doc days one glass is fine.  I'm not partaking but I do think one glass on occasion is fine.

Has been proven wine has no health benefits. Best to not drink during pregnancy.

Its safest not to drink at all during pregnancy so I avoid it.
