wisdom teeth while pregnant

I'm 27 weeks pregnant with extreme mouth pain just found out today I need 5 teeth pulled one is broken off the rest wisdom teeth has anyone been through this while pregnant .. It needs to be done I'm not sleeping nor eating due to the pain so overall it would be better for me and baby ..

It should be ok to have them removed I would have your ob and dentist talk about the safe drugs you can have while pregnant for oral surgery unless you're going to be awake. But definitely make sure your ob knows that you're going to be javing oral surgery.

I had my wisdom tooth removed.... they use a numbing shot that is different than ordinary. It wasnt too bad. You will need consent from your OB but you're far enough along that it shouldn't be a problem :) good luck! Mine was hurting so badly. I'm really glad I got it taken out!

What kinda pain did they do for you afterwards ..

The dentist prescribed vicoden(spelling?) which was on the "safe list" that my OB gave him... I only needed it for a day afterward so I didn't feel too guilty. My gum is still filling back in from the huge hole lol.

I had 2 teeth pulled at 25+5. A wisdom and a broken molar. They prescribed me T3 anf amoxicilin for after....but I didn't even need the T3.

I had mines pulled at 23 weeks and to be honest it was really painful the normal pain medicine they give u we aren't allowed to have it so it's a different numbness I felt a lot of it....u r close to ur 3rd trimester so talk to ur doctor about it

I just got 2 crowns done on my teeth and I'm 33 weeks  you just need a note from your doctor stating that it's ok to use local anesthesia
