Just a really bruised arm x
I had this shot with my first. ..they preformed it before I left the hospital after having my son. I also didn't experience any side affects either!
I have done more reading on it for the fact I fear having shots done while pregnant. Read a post that's said they were told to get it done before having the baby and it seemed fishy....but it's not. The benifits of having it done while still pregnant is beneficial to the baby the first 6 weeks of their (out of womb) life. Until they have their own vaccinations this will protect them from it! They absorb a small portion of the mothers vacation.
The jab may hurt but it's totally worth it in the end....In my opinion!
If you are still concerned discuss it with your doctor before they preform it....write down all your worries about it and tell the doctor you are still on the fence. After the talk then make your decision!
Sorry to hear about your baby girl :(
I spend plenty of time at my job trying to talk anti vaccine parents into getting their child vaccinated. Yes, absolutely get this shot, make sure that anyone who will be around baby also gets it. Same for the flu.
This vaccine is CRUTIAL!!!!!!! My daughter died of whooping cough in 2010...before they started making pregnant women get it. I cannot express enough how important the Tdap is. Who cares if it hurts? Itll save your babies life!
I got it at 32weeks and I didn't have any side effects but my arm was really sore the rest of the day.
Just had it i had to have it before i had my baby no effect arm was just a lil sore.
I got mine done and didn't have any side effects. You will be fine. Stop worrying about it.
No side affects just my arm was a lil sore that's it!
The Tdap shot? I had that done @35 weeks no side effects, mine is military too so he had his and I asked my parents to get it too. Better safe than sorry.
When i had my last baby the hospital told me i had to get it before i went home I didnt have any effects from getting it however I hate getting shots i think they are bad for our immune system but since my husband was in the military and they had a lot of people come down with it they made all moms get it before going home.
