super scared of anesthesia

Okay so my c section is tomorrow and I made a mistake of looking up complications for spinal anesthesia...one thing that can go wrong is that it can paralyze the top as well and affect breathing. :( I'm so scared, you guys!!!

You will be fine. That is why it is done by an anesthesiologist, their job during a surgery is not just to stick the needle in you and leave. They hang around for the entire thing and monitor you and your breathing for complications. In the insanely rare occurrence that there was an issue they would notice and fix it immediately.

Ive had two c sections and I hears about the complications but really you just have to be calm and take the directions they give u and do what they say so they can get it in right. As long as u listen and try not to pay attention to what u read u will be fine. :)

Don't worry you will be fine!!! Don't read things that scare u I did not have a c section with my first born but I did have an epidural and the worst that happened was they put it a little to far to the left at first and half of my body slumped ! It was kinda funny actually but the adjusted it and all was well. So relax good luck and Congrats!
