just mention it to your doctor.. not sure if they run a separate test for BV or not. & DO NOT, DO NOT, DO NOT EVER put yogurt in or around your vagina!!!! please, never!! lol!

My friend said she she used yogurt too, but not in the traditional manner. She used plain, no sugar (yeast loves sugar, so that would be a terrible outcome), Greek yogurt on put it "down there." Now, do some research on homeopathic and home-remedy treatments for yeast infections, especially regarding the yogurt, before you try this, but it may help.
And like they said, avoid harsh soaps and sex for a bit. Your body is going through A LOT of changes, and that includes influences on your natural flora

yeah, I've done the yogurt trick.. even before pregnancy, and it helped a little.. but you'll definitely need to do more than that.

the body wash, cream, and no sex should clear it up.. if not, maybe it's turned into bacterial vaginosis & you need to be treated for that instead. it's basically like a yeast infection, but I've been given different meds for the 2. ugh, again.. I know the struggle you're going through!!! lol

seriously though, maybe try the meds they prescribed again, wait a couple of weeks to make sure it's gone before sex, all while trying the new stuff..

you're very welcome!! ((:

OH YEAH, and STOP having sex until it is COMPLETELY GONE!!! no, you don't get it through sex.. but it doesn't help. you need to give it time to go away. sex won't give you the infection, but it can keep it from getting better.

also, my OB/GYN suggested doing a bath with the epsom salts, which I never did because I avoided baths all together, but other than that.. do NOT take baths.

I also had to do the cream a couple of times, which worked pretty well for me, and I also started using the Vagisil body wash along with the cream for itch!!

I stopped using soap & my other body washes because I was just TOO sensitive for it once I got pregnant!

try using the Vagisil body wash, get a small tube of the cream for the itch, try not wearing underwear when you sleep, but if you do wear a panty liner & change it frequently. congrats & good luck!! if I think of anything else I'll let you know.. I remember that struggle all too well!!! ((:

I got it during my last pregnacy.  And it would NOT go away. Taking a bath with salts helped alot. Something with the PH balance. And eating yougert.. hopefully that helps!
