yeast infections

I went to the doctor ten days ago with horrible nausea & after confirming the pregnancy (9 weeks now) I was put on a dissolving tablet so I could eat & drink again, yay, but he also said I had an infection probably a uti from being so dehydrated, so I was also prescribed an antibiotic. Today was the last day of it & it burns more now when  I pee then it did before! Vagina is red , tender, & a bit swollen with slight thick white discharge mostly just from the clitoris/urethra area...I really don't want to be on a bunch of different medications especially this early on but does this sound like something I should go back about? All yeast infection medications say if your pregnant ask a doctor so I haven't started any creams or anything...

It's common to get a yeast infection during pregnancy, especially if you're on antibiotics. Ask your doctor about which cream to use... I'm not sure which ones are safe.
