zofran how often do you take it ?

Ive just been prescribed zofran 4mg. It says to take one tablet four times a day but its $60 for a box of 10 and only have one repeat script.  I think she wants me to only take it when I need it and stick to maxalon. How often do you need to take it ? hope it works because maxalon has stopped working at week 9

Mine are generic. As well. I can take every 6 hours but if needs every 4. In the being I was going though 30 a week now I take way less but could not have made it this far with out them

Oh and mine is a generic "ondansetron" that might be cheaper.

I take it in the morning, before I get out of bed. I have the desolving kind. I relax for a bit before I start moving. I usually only have to take it the one time.

mine is not dissolvable just regular tablet.

Firstly see if you can get it in 8mgs and cut in half its way cheaper. And I take mine once a day at night because that's when my sickness is worse. Sometimes I take it twice a day but very rare only due to cost

You take it 30 min before eating and let it dissolve on your tongue. The effects can last anywhere from 3-9 hours. When are you sickest? I would take it shortly before that time. There are generics that might be cheaper as well.
