36 days since last period, am i pregnant....??

hi everyone, it has bein 36 days now since my last period, my avrage is around 30-33 days, i took a test 4 days ago and it was a bfn, did i test to early?? and the thing is im neva later than this although i dont have sore boobs like i did with my frst pregncy but yet my skin is so clear and usually im coverd in spots by now...im so confused as my cycle is not always predictble since i had my baby so im not always sure wen i ovulate. i do have another test but shall i wait till 40 days?? last period was 28th may 2006. id appreciate any comments??

oh man. I'm so glad I saw this page. I've always read about 28-33 day periods. Im so glad to know its not just me. Im always thinking Im pregnant every month and buying a test. then its negative and then a cpl days later i start my period. I think i will wait from now on for fourty one days or fourty three. a word of advice to the young girls. please if your pregancy test is negative this time. Practice using a condom and birth control everytime. Try abstinence if you can. its actually rewarding. I got preg at 8, now my mom has custody. How do you think that would make you feel? someone else mothering your child in front of you?? please do everything you can to not get pregnant before you have areliable man in your life with a ring on your finger. they are a blessing but one can of formula is about $30 and lasts a short period of time. WIC only lasts til they are five, then you are on your own. unless your dreams are to be 22, have a baby, being single and relying on foodstamps and housing, its not a great life unless you have a great job. daycare is like $110 a week. and thats low. so its hard girls.

It has been 36 days exact today since my last cycle. I have a history of having ectopic pregnancies and just want to know if I should be worried. My cycle didn't come at all in December 2012 but has been regular every month before and since so now I'm wondering why is it late this month? Could I be pregnant?

well i'm glad i saw this post. i myself have a 36 day cycle i tested 28days after AF and it was NEG. my gyn said to wait 36- 40 days because women with longer periods take more than 15days to ovulate ....well you could of been to early to test , a 36 day cycle means u ovulate like 15-20days after your AF, so just maybe you tested to early wait till 37-40days and your test maybe positive...... baby dust to you all

it's been 36 days since my last period, generally my period runs about 29-30 days, almost NEVER more, i don't think I've been really stressed and i haven't lost a lot of weight since about a month ago, an even then just a few pounds, I'm not incredibly stressed more than the norm. Lately I've had a slightly tight feeling in my lower abdomen (below my belly button), my breasts have grown (more than with my period) and they are sensitive but not necessarily sore, I've had strange and random cravings and a few aversions, I have a little headcold so i don't know about my sense of smell. Could i be pregnant? I'm scared about this, I'm only seventeen. I took a test on the first day of my missed period and got a negative, I'm waiting till next monday which I'll have been seven weeks between periods. Help would be much appreciated!

its been 37 days since my last period,i did 3 hpt but all came negative,i did one urine test in the surgery as well but it was also negative,i don't have any pregnancy sign but i'm desperate to have a baby,plz tell me wat i do?

It has been 36 days since my last period. I have been off of birth control for 5 months and my periods have been apx  every 30-33 days. I took 3 tests and there was a faint line on each. Then I got 2 clear blue easy digital test and they came up negative. I understand that clear blue easy needs 50mui to detect. Could I be testing too early? I have very sore nipples, I am very tired, emotional, lower abdominial pain and a strong sense of smell. Not sure I could just be having an odd case of PMS. Any suggestions?

It may have been to early to register the hcg hormones, restesting in a few days is an excellent idea, it is the only way to truly know.  Good luck to you!!!  Here's baby dust to you!

thanc for replyin, iam goin to test on sat, which will b 40th day and iv neva bein that late before so seems good time to test as i always get my hopes up , spend money on tests n there all wasted so iam really gonna wait this time lol! ill let u all know what happens on sat if i dont come on before then!

I got a bfn with my current pg.  Since it has been several days since you have tested, I would suggest tesing again.

it might be too early to test, or thinking about being pregnant can delay your period, it's happened to me so many times. i'd wait a day or so and use first morning urine. if af is still a no show and you get another bfn go to the doctor and get a blood test. if your not pregnant you mihgt need something to jump start it! good luck!
