6 Days Late Negative Test? Answers?

Been trying to get pregnant for almost two years. For once I am 6 days late on my period but took two tests yesterday both said negative? My period always comes a day early, on time and has only been late one day maybe twice. Anxiety is out the roof right now. Plan to go to doctor tomorrow.

What is your opinion of why this is? Any one been pregnant and experienced this?

I am going to the doctor tomorrow to do blood work. But if they get a negative reading ill go again. It is not normal for me to be late so either I am or something is wrong that I need to know about.

I've experienced this. Turns out, I was pregnant but taking home tests too soon to pick up the hcg. The doctor's test shows up far sooner.
