78 days no period but negative test result

Hi,

My last LMP was on 12th January, 2011. I had done 4 home test but negative. Went to doctor too. She told if urine test is negative then no. Meanwhile my weight is increasing, My stomach size has increased like a pregnant lady. Everyone started asking me when is the due date. For the past 1 yr I was in treatment for irregular period.but now past some months it was regular. I am getting headache often. My breast size has increased. Feeling very tired. Feeling so hungry also. After having food I have a different feeling. Not vomiting. Getting cramps in leg in the night.. Myself and husband had sex on 27th March, 2011. The next day spotting was there for 1 hr but then nothing. Today also little came in brown color. Last week when I met my doctor she told me to wait for 1 more week and  do urine test. If it is coming negative, she has written a tablet for me which I have to eat for 5 days. She told me that I will get my periods within 10 days. I am scared to eat that tablet. bcoz  If I am pregnant by any chance I don’t want to lose my baby. We are waiting for a baby for so long. Meanwhile my sister is asking me to do blood test and confirm. What should I do? Someone help me by giving some suggestions

i am now 10 wks late n just had a urine test come bk neg.. she has now told me to wait for my next due period which is the 9th april if nothing comes then i have to go bk for a blood test..

i wud defo not take the tablet n go get a blood test\scan done, hope everything works out for u hun x x

Thanks to everyone. Sure, that I will go to a different doctor.Also will do blood test and will let u people know

I would suggest going to a doctor because more than likely, if you are pregnant something is blocking the test to make it show a misreading or something. I have heard this happening before with some woman and they do end up being pregnant, so go to the doctor and have them do a blood test and explain your situation throughly. Good luck.

yes as baileybob mentions you should definitely go check yourself out and have some tests done by a different doctor. the Urine test doesn't work for everyone so you should go and get a blood test like your sister asked you to! And if you are waiting for a baby for so long don't take the pills if it can harm you're baby! Good luck and please let us know how you are doing!

go an see a dif docter an get them to do a blood test/ scan then at least u will know urine tests dont work on every 1 gud luck
