Antibiotics and bcp

Hey all,
New to this. But just trying to ease my overactive mind.
I had unprotected sex every day the week of 3/12-3/18. We also used withdrawal and he never ejactulated inside or near me. I'm also on loestrin fe 1/20 and haven't missed a pill in months.
Two days after the last time we slept together, I started a dose of 2000mg of amoxicillin a day for six days for a tooth infection after root canal. After finishing the antibiotics I had spotting for 3-4 days. Was told by my OB/GYN and then my PCP it was most likely bc my antibiotics made my BCP ineffective since I'm on low dose BCP.
I just need reassured that there isn't any chance that I could be pregnant due to sperm remaining alive or something. I'm supposed to start my withdrawal period tomorrow but I've not been getting it some months. I have a lot more breast tenderness this month so I'm just getting a little paranoid.

Yes, antibiotics do make oral contraceptive pills ineffective  and for that reason, there's a chance of pregnancy occurring since you used only withdrawal method and no other backup contraception (such as a condom). It may be best to test with a home preg test kit or better yet, a blood test if you're not sure about your cycle. Wish you the best outcome

But I didn't have unprotected sex while taking the antibiotics. I haven't had sex since two days before I started the amoxycilin. I'm just wondering whether anyone thinks that for some reason the sperm from precum survived a few days after unprotected sex until my BCP became ineffective lol.
