Breakthrough bleeding or implantation bleeding?

Hello doctor,

My gf had her last period beginning on 25th April 2016. On 1st may 2016 we had unprotected sex but no ejaculations inside her. On 2nd May 2016 she took ipill.
On 10th may 2016 she experienced bleeding which was lighter in flow and darker in color than usual period bleeding. Was this an implantation bleeding or break through bleeding?  Could she be pregnant if so what are the % chances ? When should she do a urine pregnancy test.

The ipill causes irregular bleeding for many women. I wouldn't worry about it because her cycle has been thrown off due to the pill. It might take a cycle or two to get back to normal again. Tell her to read the package insert that came with with pill because it's all in there about expecting to have irregular bleeding after taking it.
