Could I be pregnant?

I think my last period ended July 2nd, but I started having bleeding on July 10th until the 16th which isn't normal for me. Yesterday (the 20th) I started bleeding again and my period isn't due until the end of the month. My stepmother told me she has bleeding for the first three months with both of her children. I'm wondering if I could still be pregnant or if this definitely means I'm am not. The blood was very brown yesterday but today it's more red
