How accurate are home pregnancy tests?

My periods are irregular. My last sexual activity was March 30, I have had 4 periods since then, no actual symptoms, taken 4 at home urine tests, all of which came out negative. I usually have heavy periods and may be anemic, so have been taking iron supplements. does this affect the tests?

They are pretty accurate.  I'm not sure why you think you are pregnant if you have had periods 4 times since end of march.  (that's about right, March was 4 months ago . . .).  Even if they aren't super heavy, you are still having bleeding?  You can see your doctor for a blood test but would expect it to be negative too. good luck
