How did other moms cope with babies 14-15 months apart?

I just had a baby 6 months ago, and i fear im pregnant again. For other people who had babies very close together, how did your oldest cope with it? Was it very difficult for you to take care of both kids? I am freaking out here, because i dont want my oldest to feel neglected when the new baby gets here. Please no rude comments, i know what causes pregnancy, my husband and i used two forms of protection and my period is still 20 days late.

My first 2 are 13 months apart and, not to scare you, but it was really hard for me at first especially since my husband worked nights at that time. Now that they are 2 and 1 it's so much easier. They play together and even sleep in the same room. My daughter, the older one, loved my son when he was born. She helped me take care of him all the time and still does. I'm having my third in July :)

No reason to panic or be concerned before you take a test.  Get that over with so you know if this is even really happening.  :>)  You may be fretting for nothing.

My boys are 15 months apart.  It was a wild ride, can't lie.  Kind of a blur of exhaustion and diapers.  I'm sure it was a beautiful time in my life I just don't remember it very well.  So, force yourself to take lots of pictures and if you can, try to find time to job some things down in a journal.  No joke, babies close together mean you'll be super tired.  And you'll forget things (I sure did).

But I have two little guys that I dearly love and adore.  When you are a mom of kids close together, you rise to the occasion.

But it is great if you have family to help too.  LOL  I didn't.  My husband and I were on our own.  But we made it through and it's all good! good luck
