I need your experience, please ! Missed period but negative pregnancy tests? Has this happened to any of you?

So before you read this, I'm not asking you if I'm pregnant what I want to know is 'has this ever happened to anyone' and if I could possibly be pregnant.
My boyfriend and I are TTC and this is the second month. This month i was meant to start my periods on 1st May . 3 days before my period was due i got a light bleeding that just 'came out' and stopped, I assumed it was implantation bleeding. I took pregnancy tests, all negative. On monday i went to the doctors and got a urine test which also came back negative. I tried to read stuff on internet to see if this has happened to anyone but couldn't find answers, the only thing I found is that it's possible to ovulate later than usual.
I was just wondering if this has happend to any of you? Have you ended up pregnant?

My symptoms:
Heartburn
Tiredness
Nausea
Frequent Urination
Tender Breasts
& Missed Period (10 Days)

I would be really greatful if any of you could help. Thank you :)

My periods were always regular, before i started taking the pill and after. The most i have ever been late is 3 days. Im 2 weeks late now, my doctor told that i could of ovulated late which means pregnancy tests won't show a positive result yet. I'm going for a blood test tomorrow. Hopefully i'll get the result I want (+) . But if i don't i want to at least get my periods so i know when im ovulating again and can continue TTC.

The only thing I can compare is that I took a test too early before my period and got a negative but when I re-tested about 5 days later with morning urine I got a positive.

I had all of those symptoms (and still do) with my pregnancy.  However, when I took a test (I was almost 6 weeks since my LMP) I got an immediate BFP.  When I went in for blood work at my doctors they got an immediate BFP.  My HCG levels were also well over 13,500, perfect for 6 weeks pregnant and definitely enough to get an accurate HPT reading.

With that said, maybe ask your doctor for a blood test.  You may have tested too early or your symptoms could be something else.  Also, if this isn't the month don't get down.  It can take up to a year to get pregnant sometimes.  Good luck!

I'm having the same problem except my only symptoms are nausea but my cylce is late and I don't have any symptoms of it getting ready to come on like I usually do but i've been taking tests and they are coming out negative I don't know what is going on but I plan to wait 2 weeks before I go to the doctor or take another test. Crossing my fingers for the both of us because I've been trying to conceive for 8 months now.

Can't say I've personally experienced any of it. I had three symptoms which were nausea, fatigue and sore breasts and I figured the majority of it was due to my sleep patterns. Symptoms however tell nothing. In most cases if the hCG is high enough to cause symptoms, it's more than high enough to give an accurate pregnancy test. If you're having sex pregnancy is always a possibility. Go back to your doctor and have a beta blood draw done and find out what your hCG is. Generally, anything under 5 is deemed as negative. It depends on the lab though. For some anything under 10 is negative.
