I've had two negative pregnancy tests and my period is two weeks late, Help?!

Hi everyone,

My partner and I aren't actually trying to conceive at the moment, since he's still in trade school, and we are seriously thinking about adopting a kid/kids, but suddenly I'm two weeks late, and I'm worried that I could be pregnant. Here's the details:

1. Last period was on May 20th, 2017.

2. My cycle is usually 31 days, but can fluctuate a day or two.

3. We use condoms, but I am not on birth control.

4. I've taken two pregnancy tests so far, and both of them have been negative.

5. I am plus size and have an iron deficiency - but both of those are currently under control. I take pills for the iron deficiency daily, and I have been losing weight slowly and steadily, with little stress to the body.

6. I am not overly stressed since I don't work at the moment, and cooking and cleaning is my hardest task. Likewise this month not been more stressful than any other months prior.

7. I am trying to tell myself that it is a late period, and that I'm not pregnant because I don't want to have that "phantom pregnancy" syndrome.

Advice?
