Possibility of pregnancy?

Okay so my boyfriend and I (been together 9 months, been sexually active for 6) have sex regularly. We are always careful- we use condoms (stores at room temp, in the box in a drawer) and he uses withdrawal. If he touches himself at all during the lead up, he will not touch me. We both know that no method of BC is 100%, so no lectures, I don't need them :) Hormonal BC isn't good for me because of family history and cancer, but I do plan to go on it soon. Anyway... part 2. My period is 6 days late. It is known for being irregular, and this past September, it was 6 days late and I ended up buying a test and the day after that, my period arrived. Last month it was 5 days early- so this is actually my usual time to get my period. I haven't tested yet, as i want it to be a full week after. I am scared about the result... I am young and my finals are coming up and I am not in a place where I want to be pregnant.
I've been having no pregnancy symptoms (no excessive peeing, breast are totally fine apart from slight PMS tenderness a week ago, no cramping, no nausea, my appetite has stayed the same).
I had 2 root canals happen in the span of this cycle, and I had amoxicillin and a steroid (don't remember what) afterwards (little white hexagons? or maybe blue for one root canal...) and I do know that they can throw off your period.
I just had winter holidays, and had a schedule change right as my period was supposed to arrive and had to go back to school.
Can anyone give me any insight? I will test this weekend if I don't have it, however,  just wanting some
help to clarify on this matter and to see if anyone knows my chances or how worried they think I should be.

Hi.  You can't get pregnant by transference of sperm form a hand.  And you use condoms which is great.  Good job on being responsible!!  I'd say it is doubtful that you are pregnant-- 99 percent chance that you are not.  Condoms can fail but you know when they do as a condom busting is a big, noticeable mess.  Your period is probably on the way.  good luck
