Thank you all for your comments. I appreciate them very much.
Sperm does not die immediately upon exposure to air. The viability of the sperm depend on many factors like the type of surface it's exposed to once it leaves the body. If semen is exposed to clothing it will die once the seminal fluid dries out. When a man does a semen analysis they test the sperm no longer than 30 minutes after he's ejaculated due to the fact that sperm viability depletes very quickly. To answer your question, no you are not pregnant. Your chances are higher if he ejaculated on or near the vaginal opening but if he washed his hands with soap and water then there is no chance of conception. Sperm leaves the body at a rate of 25 miles per hour and it's purpose is to get as close to the egg as possible. Even then your chances of conception (during intercourse) are very small each month. Hope this helps explain some things.
And the sprem donor thing usually it takes a couple trys and the doctors implant it in your eggs i think so thats totally different.
Doesn't matter if he dried his hands or not,he washed them..with SOAP you said..your not pregnant.
Won't say it's impossible, but very highly unlikely. If you're worried go to the drugstore and get Plan B, like tonight. Good luck haha!
I've heard mixed stories about that though..whether it dies "immediately" or is still viable..how could a male be a sperm donor if it dies when it hits the air?
You don't have a reason to be stressing you have to actually have sex to get the sperm effectively in you...the sperm dies when it hits air
U r stressing over nothing.. Its too close to impossible for u to be pregnant. Sex involves a lot of strategies to induce pregnancy.
