Pregnancy after IUD removal

I had my Merina IUD removed on Sept. 4th 2012 and began bleeding on Sept. 7th 2012 until Sept. 14th 2012. I was suppose to begin my period on Sept. 23 2014. Ive been experiencing bloating, frequent urination, nausea, and weight gain. Ive taken 2 pregnancy test and both were negative. Could i be pregnant and it be too early?

So update. I took a pregnancy test on Friday. It was negative. However my Dr told me the bleeding after i had my IUD out should be considered  like a period(although i just had one a week before) so that pushes back my should start date to this coming Thursday. Hopefully i don't start. Keep your fingers crossed.

I think it really depends on what type of iud u had. Hormonal sometimes takes longer to get out your systems. I had the mirena and it took my 4 months after

Yes it does. And we are ttc my oldest is 3 so its time. And i loved being pregnant the first time. I just cant wait!!!! Good luck to you!

Im happy to know im not the only one dealing with this. i plan to take a test in the morning. If its not positive im thinking of going to the dr. Who would of known my IUD would of caused such confusion.

very similar story had my iud take out on the 4th as well bleed on the 7th for half a day stopped then had brown discharge when I wiped on the 14,15,16 nothing since IV had nausea a few mornings with no throwing up and going to the bathroom more than normal and headaches for the last 4 days took a test last week and it wad negitive. just a little confused

I think u r beeciz thats the exact saame thing that happend when i took out ma iud i took it out oct last yr had one period and that was it i found out i was prego 5mnths later end up havin a lil gurl july 23 2012 but now my last period was sept 16 to the 18th and i spotted and like i took preg testx and came bk negative

Congrats! And i hope it doesnt take that long for me. I had my period all throughout the 3 years i had the iud in. They were all completely normal. Im just wondering if the bleeding after i had it removed was my period. But i had just ended my cycle maybe a week before.

I had my iud out in february. Bleed for a lil bit then stopped. Then.didn't get another period til may then they became regular but now im almost 7 weeks pregnant.

I had my mirena removed last Thursday and I started my period last Friday and it ended on Tuesday which was only 4 days my period before was 7 days, my doctor told me after getting off the mirena some people experience irregular periods. But wait a little longer and take another test, Goodluck(:
