Pregnancy possibility

I started birth control ( ortho tri cyclen) on 2/22/17 and had unprotected sex on 3/6/17. Everything I read online says you're protected after 7 days. Is this true? What are the odds I'm pregnant?

The odds of becoming pregnant with no pill or anything are about 20%. The odds after 2 weeks on the pill are much lower. But 2 weeks into your cycle would otherwise be during ovulation. You ideally want to wait a month on the pill before having unprotected sex. That being said, it is very hard to tell if you are 5 days pregnant. Continue on the pill, and if you miss your next period, take a pregnancy test.
