What should I do?

Okay, so I'm new to this whole thing... last month on the 15th my boyfriend and I slipped up and things happened. I had my Af on the 18th of last month. My periods are sometimes irregular but nothing to bad. About a week ago I had real light bleeding for about 2 days so I figured my period was coming... but then it went away. Should I take a test or wait a few more weeks? The past 3 days I've been real nauseous and have had horrible headaches and diarrhea....

That's what he's there for. I know it can be uncomfortable but trust me they see and hear much much worse everyday. Plus he may just refer you to a ob/gyn.

I just got a primary doctor... but he is a male doctor... I haven't made a new patients appointment yet... and kind of nervous to go in on a first visit and talking to this male doctor about all my questions...

I'm old enough to understand... I just am not familiar with how true everything is. And if it's possible with my irregular periods.

Then yes! Anytime you have unprotected sex there is a chance of pregnancy. I suggest seeing your Dr and getting put on something. It isn't unheard of to get pregnant from pre ejaculate which is a fluid that comes out of the penis during sex. Men don't realize when it happens but it has been said that little to no sperm are apart of the fluid. I mean this in the nicest way possible. Refrain from having sex until you understand these things, you are going to end up pregnant if you are not educated with these things. make an appt with your Dr to discuss your missed period, they will test you there and if your not, you can be put on something.

That's exactly what happened to me! I had light bleeding for 2 days and then it stopped. Sometimes that would happen and then a couple days later it would start back up. I waited a week and then took a test. It came back positive. So maybe wait and then take a test.

I honestly had the same symptoms as you & I took a test before I was even supposed to get my period.I took clearblue & the positive line was veeerrry veeeeeerry faint& took line 6 minutes to pop up. But even if there is a faint line the test still detected hcg in your urine. Otherwise, just go to a walk in clinic & they can do a blood test & that would give you a definite yes or no.

The headaches and diarrhea can be from you about to start your period. The thing is, is that early pregnancy and menstrual symptoms are a lot alike. It is possible for you to get pregnant right before your period. Especially since you have irregular periods you could have ovulated late. All you can do is take a test.

Is it possible to feel this way with out being pregnant? Can it happen that fast? I always thought you populated a couple days after your period.. not before.  But I'm so nauseous. And the only time I feel okay is when I'm eating. I constantly feel like this all day long.

If your symptoms are from pregnancy and it's affecting your period then yes it would show on a test. It could be because you have irregular periods. First morning pee is the best. I was 3 weeks when I found out.

So if I am, it would show already on a test? Should I take it in the am or could I take it now? And if it's negative is it possible I could still be pregnant?

It wouldn't hurt to take a test especially if you haven't had your normal period and are overdue for it.

I would just take a test to put your mind at ease. A test will come up positive if pregnant as early as 3-4 weeks :)
