im so confused ! has this happened to anyone else?

Im over a week late for my period, I have all of the symptoms and feel like poo :(
I took a test yesterday when I would be 5 weeks pregnant & it was neg. I have a gut feeling im pregnant. Has anyone got all negs until about 5 or 6 weeks pregnant? Thanks:)

I didn't get a positive till I was 12 weeks! I didn't go to the Dr because I had no symptoms. I only went because my eating habits changed and I lost 20 lbs out of nowhere. And that's when they told me I was 11 weeks 6 days

You should get a blood test, in most pregnancies you can get a positive HPT as early as 14 days after unprotected sex, it's pretty uncommon to go weeks without a positive, I was 10 days past unprotected sex when i got a positive, so it depends. Many things can cause symptoms, so make sure you get some blood work, good luck!! :)
