That's not a reliable way to figure out when you are ovulating, just as a FYI for future use. You can easily ovulate sooner or later than expected, so you can easily get pregnant if you are not using protection. If you don't want to get pregnant, you need to be using protection from start to finish. I'm glad you got your period this month, but next month you may not be so lucky if you continue to have unprotected sex. Something to really think about.
Then you actually don't know when you're ovulating. Take this as a learning lesson and NEVER have unprotected sex. You might not always be so lucky in the future.
None. I just rely on the days. And I got my period last 4days ago. :D Thank You!!
How are you calculating when you are ovulating?
Thank You So Much! Congrats!!
It's impossible to say. If you know you ovulated before, it's not likely. But using you're using things such as OPKs and charting your BBT you won't know for sure. CM can indicate ovulation, but it's not 100%.
And yes, I'm a mother. My daughter is 11 months, turning 1 year old Sept 8th.
So, I am not pregnant? I am so thankful that you answered my question!! :) Are you a Mom already?
You only ovulate on one day, not many.
I can't remember but what I do remember is when it ended. My ovulation ended on August 2. Then, I wasn't ovulating anymore and it became dry.
No, you get pregnant before ovulation. Without ovulating, pregnancy can not occur. Do you know the actual day you WERE ovulating?
So, the chance that I will get pregnant is the day after Ovulation? :)
Yes, I am sure because before August2 I was ovulating then after August 2 I didn't ovulate anymore. Then, I'm expecting my Mens this week but still no hope.
Are you 110% sure you actually ovulated 5 days after? As in, you're using some form of method to chart ovulation, and NOT relying on ovulation calendars? These can be quite off, especially if you have an irregular cycle.
If you know 110% sure you ovulated before you had sex, then yes you would be deemed safe. An egg is only viable for 12-24 hours after you ovulate.
Is it safe if we had that intercourse 5 days after ovulation?
It's very possible you could be pregnant. Unless you're trying for a baby you NEVER have unprotected sex for ANY amount of time. It doesn't matter if it's a few times, or how many times he had previously ejaculated. Pre-ejaculation is always present when a male is aroused and CAN get you pregnant. You need to use condoms from start to finish before any penetration occurs.
Wait another week and take a pregnancy test with first morning urine.
