Unprotected sex and now heavy bleeding.

Hi everyone,

Hoping to get some help here.

I had sex for the first time every, two weeks ago (unprotected). My boyfriend and I were kind of drunk and it was in the heat of the moment. He did pull out but I'm not too sure if he pre-ejaculated or not. Since it was my first time having sex I 'm a bit scared now because I don't take birth control pills either.

I had sex on May 24th and got my period, after days of worrying, on June 6th (heavy). Now, I don't ever keep track of my periods, but they're usually 5-7 days long. Its the 5th day of my current period and its become from heavy to lightish flow right now. I've experienced cramping, some mood swings and some cravings. On my typical period I would experience little to no cramping, some mood swings and some cravings.

I'm still scared to be pregnant, despite the fact I have my period, because after doing some searching online it seems like its possible to be pregnant and still have your period. Some are saying it should be spotting, and some are saying its possible to have a heavy period as well.

Just some FYI, I'm 22 years old and definitely don't want to be pregnant at this stage in my life. I wasn't planning on having sex until marriage but it just happened. And after this whole incident of worrying about being pregnant, definitely won't be having sex for a long while (even with protection).

Is it too early to get a home pregnancy test or go to the free clinic to get a pregnancy test done?

I'm very confused, and would love to hear thoughts and advice.

Thanks,

It is unlikely that you are pregnant considering you got your period. Stress can throw off your cycle. It is also very common to have bleeding after loosining virginity. Wait until your next period to test if you are still worried, but remember stress can make your period do all sorts of crazy things.

u would probly have to wait until the end of the month or until your next period for a urine test to show the true results. Taking one to early would be false result so just in case waiting is the only option right now. Just not to worry to much, it could turn out to be neg gl
