You can find a due date calculator online, that tells you roughly which weeks you're in. But my question to you is why won't they do blood work if your tests keep coming back negative? Either that or an ultrasound just to see.
I agree with above you can get a due date calculator online. Have you had blood test?
Also there are other reasons for no periods, you should get that checked out. I have irregular periods because of PCOS but there are many reasons you can have irregular or no period. Hoping though you get the answer you a re looking for and good luck xx
I went in last Monday. Told her I thought I was pregnant and told her I was coming up negative with HPT and then she gave me the same brand of HPT which came back negative. Said I wasn't pregnant and sent me home with vitamins, condoms, and an appointment for further examination. I told her my symptoms and what was going on and she acted as if she could care less.
She didn't give me one and by the way it sounded. I might get a different doctor Thursday. I really hope so.
If I don't get any confirming results Thursday I'm going somewhere else were I will get results.
I would either switch doctors or go in with a different approach. Don't start off by saying you think your pregnant, say "I missed my period for 3 months when I'm normally regular" (idk if you are I'm just guessing). Then tell them about the negative tests, most likely they'll wanna explore why that's been going on.
I hope you get some results Thursday!! :)
Yeh get a second opinion!
My last period was in august, my first due date was may 26 but when I had u/s I found out I'm due June 16 so anywhere in that general area. I'm 14 weeks.
My last period ended the 25th of July. I'm 20w 3d.
If you took a pregnancy test & it came back negative, especially after weeks of waiting, then your body does not contain the pregnancy hormone and you aren't pregnant. Honestly, I see how you could maybe feel that way not having a period and all, but there is probably something else going on. Direct questions can hopefully get direct answers, so don't let a doctor brush you off so quickly. You deserve to know what is going on with your body.
That's true, but it isn't true that some women/girls never test positive on an HPT, which is all she did. No blood test or anything. She scheduled me to have a breast and pelvic, etc.. examination.
You are right. My hub had an aunt who tested neg til 8months. Blood work is the only way to know for sure. Demand blood test not urine. I did. Though the family doctor thought I was bring stupid he did what I wanted. Be firm without being rude. I lied and said she was my aunt (through blood). Good luck. Hope it goes well.
The doctor really irritated me. She gave me the HPT tht I've been testing negative from for 3 1/2 months and told her so.
That's funny cause if you read the box it says "not for clinic" use. At least first response does.
Yeah, seriously. She didn't even really look at me or listen. I'm sure I am. My breasts are too sore not to be and a few weeks ago the nausea finally. Plus, I'm starting to feel flutters in my lower abdomen on the left side. Among, other symptoms and it's not in my head. I could care less right now. If I am, I'll be excited, but I'm tired of not getting any damn answers to why I haven't had a period and why I only spotted in September and didn't get a regular period.
Soooooo y havent u gone somewhere else yet.??
Only been to this place once. Hoping Thursday I will hv a different doctor and by the way she talked I will and I will insist on a blood test or something besides a HPT.
Not to be rude but maybe you should visit a psychiatrist. Some women can convince their body that their pregnant and have ALL the signs and symptoms of pregnancy, including a growing belly and thinking they feel the baby kicking when INFACT they are not pregnant... If after months of testing and still a negative result its safe to say you are not pregnant and either have an issue going on with your lady parts or your head....
The ones that do that are mainly desperate to have a baby. A psychiatrist would not help in this case. My opinion.
