I've never used the MC calendar, so I'm not sure, haha, I'm sure it highlights the days leading up to, and after ovulation, so that's probably it. Those calendars never lined up correctly for me, so we used OPK's, and we got pregnant in 3 months, I'll be using them next time if we decide to have another!

Doesn't the mc calendar show the fertile days in between the day you ovulate ? that's what I was mentioning I might've said it wrong I'm not sure lol

You only ovulate between a 24-32hr window each month, you're not fertile for 8 days a month, but having sex leading up to, on the day of, and after you ovulate is the best when trying to get pregnant. If you had sex unprotected on your ovulation day, there's a chance of pregnancy, of course, if you're ttc you've done all you can to maximize your chances, now you just have to wait and see if your period comes, you can test as soon as 14 days after ovulation, but I got a positive at 10 days after ovulation with a first response early response test, good luck!
