I had a missed miscarriage no exact date when it started or ended. I completly stopped bleeding May 09, of 2014. My husband wanted some attention if you know what I mean a week after the date. An we had unprotected sex. A week after that again the same. If you get my drift this happened about every week. I know; I was told to wait 3 months by the doctors. But I'm confused as to if I am pregnant. How can I tell when to take a test or not? Please someone out there HELP!!!!!

This can be very difficult to understand of when to test or not. I'm in the same area as you are I miscarried May 10th 2014 and ended 4-5 days later. The doctor told you to wait 1) either you have had medical problems or other miscarriages or 2) they want a better date to go off of for your EDD. You can get pregnant 1-2 weeks after a miscarriage. Using the first day you miscarried calculate how far along you'd be. You won't get a positive result on a HPT until the 4th week of pregnancy. Once your 4th week rolls around take a test using first morning urine and follow up with a 2nd one a couple days later if the first one comes out negative. You can't wait for a missed period because after a miscarriage everything is thrown out of whack and your period may not show up until 5-6 weeks after a miscarriage sometimes 4. Best of luck!

BossHog2 did you have your period erm call the hospital and ask hun how many weeks were you hun so sorry  I had a missed miscarriage on February that's when I went in to hosptial I we t to my 12 weeks scan and they said baby died at around 6-8weeks and then 2 to 3days after I went in and had 1 tablet then went home and I was out with my boyfriend walking his friend to bus stop and I felt something come out and I was panicking lol I think I went in either the same day or the day after to have the 2nd tablet it was a little bit painful but not that much but then I had to go back 2weeks after had a scan and I had to have a d&c I stayed in for like an hour or longer then went home but I was put on a drip and I was told I was anemia for me loosing blood but I was fine after that and then 8months down the liine I think I got pregnant with my daughter but she wad born premature at 21+6days and she was born at 22:30 and died 23:30 and now I'm pregnant again I'm 7weeks and 5days now I'm nervous but I'm hanging in there all together I've had 1 miss miscarriage and but before the 2011 I was 23weeks pregnant and I lost my daughter because if her lungs but its because my waters went at 12 weeks I had group b strep then I give birth to her at 23 weeks I miss my 2 girls but I'm doing good and its horrible when you hear people say that they've gone threw the same thing or similar thing its really horrible but if you are pregnant good luck hope it goes well don't worry or stress to much ok hun I'm here if you need to talk
