Thanks for all the great suggestions! I'm leaning towards the g diapers as well. I love that you have the choice of cloth or biodegradable disposable when on the go.
My husband likes the traditional folded diapers so we may try both to see what works best with the baby.
I am using G-diapers for the twins. We bought everything we would need for both babies used on ebay. I like them because I can use a disposable insert when we go out in public instead of carting around a wet bag. I found this blog very helpful when I was decided which cloth diaper to go with:

Sorry I should have said bamboo bamboozle diapers are definatley my favourite of the cloth diapers products we sell.
Although I don't have the energy or motivation to use cloth I will be using g diapers as I used them for my last and find them to be a fairly Eco friendly and convenient comprise between both and disposables.
I do however sell cloth in the store I work in.
Flat cotton diapers folded waterproof outers are definatly the cheapest way to cloth diaper. They are pretty easy to wash but you will find you may need to double up with soaker pads for night time use and they can be quite bulky. All in one diapers are easy to use and clean but are quite expensive ( around $25 - $35 per diaper ) and you would need at least 12 to 16 diapers, they ate less bulky. Bamboo is defiantly on of the most absorbent materials and it is naturally antibacterial, it is also cream coloured so stains show up much less
Any questions let me know!!
Bamboo is defy
I used a diaper service. Stuck with it for a while, the wraps they have you put the diaper in were pretty good, but my son kept peeing out of the diapers, they just weren't stopping it and he was wet a lot of the time. If you are having a girl, it might work better. You can sometimes buy big packages of used diapers from the services, and there are some good brands available online. The kind of wraps you use makes a big difference also.
