I'm 10.5 weeks. I've been bleeding every single day since start of week 6. That means I've had 4.5 weeks of daily bleeding and pregnancy is still fine. Doctors couldn't see any cause for bleeding on ultrasound. They told me I'm high risk but there's nothing really we can do. They told me to reduce my exercise, not lift anything somewhat heavy and avoid pelvic strain. For some people, bleeding happens. I've even had very big clots of blood pass and I'm still fine even after that. Be concerned if bleeding is accompanied by any cramping. Good luck!
From what i know, if there is a heartbeat while bleeding you have a 90% chance that your baby will be ok. When i had a mc, day i started bleeding doctors found no heartbeat. Stay strong, hope you and the little one will be ok and healthy.
I've had a heavy bleed at 8 weeks, scanned and baby was ok. I had an area in my uterus that showed blood but wasn't from the baby. I've had three small amounts of blood (spotting I guess) in the last two weeks. What I was told is that it is common (not that that stops us from worrying) an unless your cramping/passing clots and it's fresh blood not to stress. I would always recommend getting checked if your unsure or speak to your local Early Pregnancy Unit/Midwife :-) xx
Hiya, this is quite an old post now and I have since miscarried (for the 2nd time in a row) after speaking to my midwife and EPU who refused to take bloods and do an internal scan. So it was serious and there is a possibility that it could have been stopped too according to the Dr I spoke to after it had all happened, but my hospital mis-treated me. Thanks anyway x
Sorry to hear about your loss… just dont give up and take care :)
