Working during morning sickness

I have to be at work at 7am Monday through Friday. I'm 6 weeks pregnant and the morning sickness just hit me including severe headaches and nauseous practically all day. What are some tips to get me going in the mornings? I don't want to be late to work! Or slacking through my work day.

I bought the seabands that my doctor also told me to get. They have helped me none. Eating crackers before getting out of bed didn't help, lemon in water didn't help. I'm open for all suggestions but I'm just having no luck. Ended up in the doctors office today leaving with zofran. Not too sure how I feel about it though. Apparently it can cause birth defects. Weighing out all my options.

I'm right there with you girl. I feel fine waking up but as soon as I step into my office the sickness starts. Doesn't help that I have to look at a computer all day either. My headaches and nausea is getting stronger every day. I heard SEA BAND works. It's a bracelet you wear. I think I'm gonna look more into it to see if it works!

Thank you for the advice. Today is day 2 of missing work. I called the doctor to see if they can help me since my 1st ultrasound isn't until August 15. I need some kind of relief to be able to function, go to work and take care of my very hyper 3 year old son! Hoping for the best.

I haven't gotten sick yet with this pregnancy. YET. Lol. But my first I did. I couldn't keep anything down. From week 6 to 13. I drank Ensure alot which helped. But I agree with crackers and lemon in water. Oh an ginger ale was my best friend. Hope you get feeling better!

Thank you! Its hard to make yourself eat when all you want to do is vomit. Today was the 1 st day I called out sick so far so I'll try anything at this point so it doesn't happen again. I appreciate your help!

I'm experiencing the same symptoms except no headaches yet. Put lemon slices in your water. That helped with nausea. Eat crackers before rolling out of bed in the morning. It doesn't give your body time to feel as sick. Smells are getting me more than anything with the morning sickness. Also, eat small meals throughout the day instesd of full meals. Good luck. Hope this helps.
