I am a bit late to the party but I am expecting my 8th baby in 3 weeks.  3 weeks exactly, but I will probably have it a week early.  A long story but it has to do with insurance, my husband starting a new job and basically making sure the baby is covered for those first couple of well visits, as we will have a 30 day waiting period in which we will not be insured.  So we will probably induce on the 15th or 16...whatever my doctor will okay.  I guess I will find out at my appointment later on today.

Good luck to you all!  I know how it feels to be uncomfortable and just ready to have your baby already.  I feel the same way but I just keep telling myself that I am almost there!

:) that's exciting news! My doctor mentioned that if I don't go before hand on my own that she will induce me at 39 weeks, which would roughly be about the time you're being induced, that's crazy we'll practically even be having our little ones about the same time! That's great though! Good luck, and congrats! It's not far away at all!

I'm honestly not sure if I'll go on my own before that or not, I'm actually not really having contractions lately, so I'm feeling like my body will make me go to the due date or past if I wait on it lol. I will definitely post when he makes his arrival! Let me know how your induction goes if you don't go naturally before! Oh my, that's amazing, I had to find out what I was having, it would have made me even more impatient this whole time wondering what I was having lol. That's cute that you guys waited until birth to find out what you're having, it's a great surprise!

Congrats!  I got checked today and am only a finger tip dialated and my cervix is still thick :(  But I am scheduled to be induced on Thursday 8-15.  So not much longer!!

Sounds like you will probably go before me but congrats and please post when your little one comes!!!  BTW...we don't know what we are having this time so we are excited to find that out too!!

I'm due the same day! I am going to be induced a week early also, assuming I don't go earlier naturally. After having a bout of preterm labor at 26 weeks, I'm already 3 centimeters dilated, 80% effaced, and baby is already nearly engaged. Just a matter of needing the contractions, and for him to engage. Good luck to you! You're the first one I've seen here that is also due August 23rd!
