36 weeks pregnant having pain & cramps while urinating
So I'm 36 weeks pregnant. Today (Aug04) I had my first weekly check up. I had to do the GBS test, but while my doctor was doing, I'm sure of it that she swabbed my urethra instead of what she's actually supposed to do. Since I've gotten home after that, I've been experiencing some bright red bleeding/spotting but it doesn't come close to filling a pad & when i urinate it stings alot! sort of as if I had UTI but I know for sure I don't due to blood work & urination tests a week prior to this GBS / internal exam, im also having some minor cramps down there & in my stomach area. The doctor said I am 1cm dilated as well. I really don't know if I should worry & go to the hospital or wait it out? Has anyone else ever experienced this or has had this happen to them?
