Bleeding!!!

Today after I had sex I began bleeding, it was quite dark red and when I wiped there was a fair amount of it. 2 hours later when I went to the toilet and wiped there was still some more with a small blood clot. I'm not in any pain but I am really scared I could be having a miscarriage. I've called the GP who says I have to just monitor the bleeding for the next few days and see what happens. It's such an awful wait though. Anyone have any advice.

Don't stress out. I've been through a miscarriage at week 12 of my pregnancy last May, and it all happened in one day. From spotting, to bleeding more heavily like a period, to an ultrasound, to excruciating pain (physically and emotionally). One day I was pregnant, the next I wasn't.
My doctor said it had nothing to do with having sex, although now that I'm pregnant again I've had some scared when I spot a couple days after sex.
My advice to you is to not worry about it until you know. Believe me! I know it's hard, but just give it a day or two then talk to your doctor again.
You and your baby are in my prayers!
