Baby Shower

I had my baby shower today and i got TONS AND TONS of stuff!  Im so set its unreal.  I did not expect this much stuff....i literally have no room for it all.  And i had a really good turn out of people!  It was so much fun and i loved every minute of it!  I hope to hear from other people that were having their showers soon or today.  I know some people had some today and some that are coming up!  I hope you all lucked out like i did!

I am glad you guys had good showers - mine is next saturday (the 1st) so hopefully mine goes well - I am excited and hoping to have a good time.  I can't help but cheat and peek at the registry to see what has already been bought - my mom says I am horrible for doing it b/c there won't be any surprises - but I did the same thing for my wedding shower.

Glad to hea that you gals had such a great time...I've heard of so many horror stories on the forum about bad outcomes it's nice to hear of some good ones!  Good for you girls!  Yahoo!

Oh that sounds great!!!!  I love to hear all about everyones showers and when they turn out great!  I had about 25 people there so there was a great turn out!  We only played one game and while i was opening up my gifts everyone ate cake!  Which i liked, that way it wasnt so showerish....haha  Its just not me!  My aunt gave out gifts which where hair care products because shes a hair dresser!  So it worked out great!  

I'll post pictures of me opening gifts and what the baby room looks like now that its full once i get them all uploaded!!!!  

Now im off to the doc. for my 32 week checkup!

hey!  i had mine on the same day as yours!  I had 14 people come to mine and i am also set for the first 2 months!  4 cases of wipes 2 cases of diapers, 40 onesies, 40 socks, 30 bibs 3 sets of bath time sets, diaper genie, and a swing!    my mom gave us a whole collection set by graco stroller/carseat/play yard/high chair/ and swing.  my bro cousin and gf pitched in and gave us a crib $450.00.  everything we needed and wanted.  at first everyone was kinda silent for the first 30min eating and quietly mingling until we did our games.  taste the baby food, measure my belly, name game, cake then present opening.  each game had a winner and i got them gifts (vs perfume spray 6 for $30)  after opening everyone chatted for another 30 min and everyone left.  everyone else who didnt win the games recieved a lil gift to bring home so they wouldnt be left out.  nothing much but some tiny lil hand sanitizers from bath and body and 10 pieces of candy, but everyone was happy!  i was very satisfied of the outcome.
