early US results

well, had my US today, and it has made me so so worried, the Tech only saw a gestation sac, the computer says i am 5weeks 6 days via LMP but I have a 31 day cycle so I would say I am more like 5 weeks 3 days, but of course am so worried now, DAMNT why did I have to see only the sac :( just when I started to feel not so worried because my levels looked so good :(. they drew more blood but of course did not call me with the results (even though it was STAT) and I was crying when i left the office ( you would think they would have a heart to call me) so now I'm sitting here with all bad thoughts in my head, the Tech had to mention the word BLIGHTED OVUM OMG OMG... I just had a MC in Dec and I cant believe I may go through this again,

thank you thank you ladies, and grats kedarhaze, My US gave the due date of 12/20 also, but doctor is going by my LMP period for now so will put me at 12-18-09 but I have a 30-32 day cycle so who knows lol.  SO SO SO happy for you that you saw your little bean too, crazy we were both going through the same thing :P)

I am so happy for you. I did not think I could be this happy for someone I do not know. Same here, today I had my 3rd u/s and they saw the little one with a heartbeat; I was over joy. I feel the same, I could actually relax now and enjoy the pregnancy. They said I am 6 weeks and 3 days but, most website said I am 7 weeks. I don't care I am just happy. Due date is 12/20/09 and I will continue posting. Congrats again

Update, I went to a diff doctor and acted as if this was my first US and that my cyst was acting up (it really does hurt ) and still 3x2.5 inches (owwwweee) , so they did the first US and he could not find a baby, ( I was so upset) but he said wait, lets go to the other room and use the new US system, so I moved rooms, he did his wand thing and about 3 min into it, (still upset) he goes "and there is your little bean with a heart beat" WOW it was awesome, so I have to really believe that the doctor and equipment can make a huge difference, he told me sometimes the beans park them selves on the back side of the Gestational sac and it makes it harder to see so he had to basically go around the back side of the sac to see it,
WOW I got to see the little heart beat just beating away, it was awesome, he gave me  2 pictures of the little bean too, its crazy,,, I am now so relieved and feel I can actually relax and know that I really have a baby and not so sad,,,,,, still early but things are sure looking better now, thanks for all the support ladies

I hate to be extreme but I would go to the ER and tell them a bs story, so, they could do an u/s. With my first child I was having bad cramps and my doc did not want to do anything about it. So, I went to his office and asked for my medical records and went to a another doc. They find out the am...fluid was very low.Sometime you have to follow your heart and change doctors and sometime you might have to be extreme or be a strong advocate for yourself. Good luck

my levels that day on 24 dpo went up to 9512, but I dont see why they are making me wait till May 9th to get the second US you would think they would be willing to monitor it like are for you guys, they are making me wait 18 days? that just doesn't sound right, Im thinking of going to a diff doctor this week so I can get the second US to see if I have had any changes, It makes me so mad that they are making me wait 2 weeks, and for 2 weeks Ill be worried that I am carrying a empty sac :( that just seems so mean..... I would rather know now if things are bad or GOOD !!!

I on the same boat with you. With my first child they saw him when I was 6 weeks. Now I am pregnant, I have an u/s on the 17th the only saw the gestional sac and went back on the 22nd they now see the yolk sac. I am going back this wednesday for a third u/s, I am pregnant I will see my little one. What I have read online is that the gestional sac appear at 4 weeks and the yolk sac usually appear at 5 1/2 week and sometime 6 weeks. By 7 weeks the baby and a heartbeat should appear in an u/s. I should be 7 weeks now base on my blood count. Keep us posted. I will continue praying and I will also pray for you.

With my son Keenan, I went at 5 weeks and all they saw was the sac! I went next week and they saw my little bean, don't worry, you are very early

Honey, I know its hard but try not to worry. I know when I had my son 2 1/2 years ago it had only been 6months early that I had a tubal and had to have emegy. surg. It was very scary when i had to wait till almost 7 weeks before they could see my son in the sac. So dont worry it just may be to early to see the baby. I will keep you in my prayers. I have to wait to get my 1st u/s at 9weeks the wait is killing me but the doc says all my blood levels are great and i too am only 5 weeks and 6 days. God bless you and your little bean!!
