worried

I got my BFP on Monday... It was a FRER, and was faint, but very there... if that makes any sense...
I decided to take another today (I ordered some internet cheapy pg and ov tests online the day before I got my BFP which arrived in the mail today so ofcourse I could not resist!!... figures LOL!) I totally expected this test to be much darker... but it was still a faint, but very there line... showed up quicker, but still not dark... Im worried that this could mean HCG levels not rising like they should?? Am I just being paraniod?? could this just be the different brands or the fact that I didnt really "have" to pee when I took it?? Should I wait and test another internet cheapy tomorrow morning and see if that is darker?? or should I worry??
My first appt isnt till monday, and with a history of m/c and high risk pregnancies I am losing my mind waiting!! LOL!! Any one have any advice to help keep me sane?? LOL

Thanks! Always helps to know that your not alone! Don't Dr offices suck sometimes!!! I do hope that everything went well with that appointment. Are they still testing your beta levels? How many times did you have to go in for bloodwork if you dont mind me asking? I feel like I haven't done this in forever and my son is only 18 mos! LOL!

I think I'm even more stressed cause I can't see MY Dr till Aug... I have to see the ONE Dr in the practice that I REALLY can't stand!! Actually, if it wasnt for my Dr. and 1 of the midwifes, I wouldnt go there at all, especially because its about 60 miles from my house (moved since I delivered my son)... Ah well... I think Im just ranting now....

Anyway... I did take 2 more cheapy tests, and the lines haven't changed one way or another, lighter or darker, not even with FMU... so Im just going to try to take that as a good sign for now (maybe its just a dye thing with the test) and relax and stay busy with my kids over the weekend...  I'll let myself go crazy again on Monday around 3-4pm X0)~

I too have a history of miscarriages so I know what it's like to be going nuts - know you're not alone!  I got my BFP Tuesday and when I called the dr's office the gal that answered the phone just thought I was some gal with a BFP - she didn't have me scheduled to come in until week 8... I told her about my history and the nurse practitioner called back and had me come in the next morning!  Try and breathe easy and know that you're doing what's with in your power to ensure a healthy pregnancy and there's nothing you can do until Monday!  Good luck!!

Thanks for the response!! Yes, my Dr. always checks my beta levels, but they soonest they could get me in is Mon, so in the mean time I am going crazy waiting!! LOL! Then I'm sure I'll be nuts waiting for the #'s to come back then waiting for the second beta... then waiting for those #'s then waiting for an ultrasound (hopefully!!)... ugh!!! Isn't being preggo hard enough without all the added emotions!!??

There are a number of reasons that the lines could still be faint...dilution of urine, different tests and quality of tests just to name a few.  The only thing that really matters is that the numbers double!  Are you getting beta tests done? Most of us on this site get a beta hcg as soon as get the positive hpt, but I am learning that not all offices do that.  If you haven't gotten that yet, I'd ask for it on Monday.

Try to relax and stay positive....

Good luck and keep us posted!
