Cerclage
I had a cerclage done on Wed. Has anyone had one? I really hope it works.
They did mine because with my first pg I went into labor at 26 weeks. Unfortunately the baby did not make it so I am hoping that this is the answer for me. It seems like the sucess rate is high. I am 13 weeks now and so far so good. Good luck with yours on Friday!
I had one with my last pg with DS and have mine scheduled for this pg on Friday... I got mine out at 34 weeks (I think) with DS and ended up having to be induced at 36 weeks for high bp.
They did mine because I had a history of PPROM with DD, she was born at 30 weeks and because I had scarring on my cervix from a LEEP procedure, also because my cervix started shortening with him at 18 weeks.
Hope you are feeling ok. I've know several other women that had them and also had great success stories!!
