Hi girls,
I am so nervous about the babys position, I am just over 34 weeks and in the last couple weeks she has moved up and I think she  is lying in a  transvere position( I think thats the tech name for it). She was head down since my 20 ish week ultrasound and at one of my last visits her head was down in my pelvis. I was just wondering if anyone had a similar experience. Should I be panicking just yet?
Has anyone had a breech baby or transverse baby and had them move the baby into proper position?
I really don't want to have a c-section! I am so worried. I have an ultrasound in a couple weeks to check my cervix to see how thinned out it is and babys position, hopefully she changes by then.

My ND also said that she can turn a breech baby with acupuncture and her success rate is something like 96%.  She said it's better if you start earlier -- meaning 36-37 weeks.

Please don't panic!  My L'il Monkey has been breech the ENTIRE pregnancy and was still breech when we went in for our 33 week u/s.  Sometime during the 35th week, he/she moved into the proper position. I will ask, just to be sure, at the next appt. if he/she is still down there.  BUT I know, from my OB, my doula, my chiropractor and the u/s technician that there is no need for concern until 36-37 weeks.  Then, if the baby is still breech, the doctor will usually try to move it manually which usually works!

Also, if you are truly concerned, one thing that we did which was a completely safe and harmless technique to try to turn the baby was the Webster technique at my chiropractor's.  But PLEASE, PLEASE don't panic yet!!

Good luck!
