No bedrest unless my cervix gets too short.... but I am not going to worry about that - I am just going to enjoy the picture I have of the baby putting her/his hand to their mouth!!
HORRAY!!!!! So happy!!! Now you can let some fo the stress go:) Are they putting you on bed rest or in the hospital for a while afterwards?
YAY! I'm so happy for you.
Oh good...glad everything went well! I go for my u/s today, can't wait but am a bit nervous. I'll let all of you know how it went.
U/S was great - baby was ALL over the place - hand to face - feet in air.. turning and rolling. Scheduling the cerclage for the week after next... all looks calm right now!
thanks!! Mine has not been that bad but I feel the baby kick there and the pain feels like when I dialate and sore like. So mine is different! Tht is scary to feel the sac!
It is like something is hitting it from the top. When I went in the er back with my daughter I felt a bubble where a tampon would be.. the dr told me to come in asap - it was actually the amneotic sac and my baby's feet coming through the birth canal... All day that day I felt something was just wrong... I will keep you in my thoughts as well and let you know how tomorrow goes!!
I will keep you in my thoughts! Does the pain you have in your cervix is it sharp or dull. I have been haveing sharp pains that end in pressure down there. I have never dialated before only had preterm labor so this is new to me. My cerivx seems to go back though. Not all the way but enough I am not totally worried yet. I will see Friday about mine.
I spent 105 days in the hospital on bedrest for my first sucessful pregnancy - I was 3 cm dialated and fully effaced at 19 weeks. With my sone - I had the cerclage at 13 weeks and only spent 8 weeks at home on strict bedrest... he was a very calm pregnancy - this one I am thinking is a girl and not so calm.... so i am a little worried. I find out tomorrow if everything is okay - and when the cerclage will be my cervical lengthy is usually only 4 normally (i think cm) - when the normal is 6 - and about 2 when I am over 11 weeks... so any amount of pressure shortens it to almost nothing... they press on my belly during the u/s so check and it just disappears... I will let you know.... I have been feeling tingeling and little pains in my cervix for the last couple of days.. fingers are crossed!!!
Goodness I was having us every two weeks then now every three weeks for hearttone check. The first time I went the three weeks I was almost crying I was so nervous to get the us that time but excited also. Now I can feel the baby move so it is easier but my dr said when ever I want I can go get a fetal hearttone check by us to ease my worries. Maybe you can get that. It cost me like $76 before insurance takes it. I lost a little girl at 23 weeks 8 yaers ago, my last and she was not with me long so I am super paraniod!!!!! I don;t feel like something is worng but all those emotions come back sometimes and they are overwhelming! It is always good to have a dr that understands you! Let me knwo how the cerclage goes! Do you ahve to be on bed rest after that? In the hospital? I have never had one but I open and close this time. I have never done that before. I will be checked Friday for cervical length by us.
I wouldn't worry about it just yet. I have been cramping most of this pregnancy way more than I would think is normal. Some day's it lasts all day. I asked my dr. about it again today and he said as long as there's no bleeding then there's nothing to worry about. He said it's completely normal. I had a m/c a year and a half ago where I started bleeding and cramping one day out of the blue at 9w3d and lost the baby. We found out that the baby hadn't grown since 5w. I had only had one u/s done before then or we would have known. I'll be praying for you! Try not to stress about it right now though..especially if there's no spotting.
Thank you - I do have preterm labor history... I see the High Risk Dr on Wednesday for an u/s - I am just worried bc I have not seen the baby since 8w2d and it is now 11w1d - But if all goes well on Wednesday I will be scheduled for a cerclage the following week. I am just really nervous because all is so quiet right now. Thanks for your comforting words.
I have had episodes of vomiting and contractions. THey upped my progesterone to calm my uterus so it does not happen again but here is the thing dehydration casues contractions and if you were that sick for that long it is possible the baby is just gaining its strength back from all that. As this being my 7th pregnancy and 2 of them being mc and the other being bed rest and preterm babies that is what my experience has been. I would of said you needed fluids! It does not mean mc and is not a sign of it. Around 11-14 weeks lots of pregnancy symtoms disapear for some. Mine will go away for a day or so then come back with a vengence.
Thank you for the positive thoughts.. I have an u/s scheduled for wednesday 1/6 - I am really thinking negativly - I guess trying to prepare myself for the worst.
Not sure - my 2 miscarraiges were early on- 7weeks...but I wanted to tell you I had a day of crampng & contractions (no vomiting) a month ago- sure it meant miscarraige- called dr & she said if there is no bleeding think positive. I did lots of resting with feet up even though the contractions continuted into the second day- but a few days later ultrasound showed everything is fine! Now at 14 weeks - so I'll think positive for you!
