WEIRD question about fetal/baby movement *LOL*

Ok this might be a silly question but i'm really unsure. When i was pregnant with my first baby i never really felt what would be the baby rolling over. I've read and heard others say that it's different from kicks but i don't think i've experienced the feeling. For those who have can you describe it for me. Maybe i have had it and just assumed it was kicks or nudges. Also when should you start to feel movement regularly. I've been feeling little flutters off and on since about 16 weeks but nothing consistant. I'll feel a few a day and then nothing for a week or more. The last couple of days i may have felt it steady for an hour or so but that's it. I'm 19 weeks now and wondering if this is normal. I have an u/s next week so i'll get to peek in on her/him anyway but just curious of others experience with this.

Thanks for your answer in advance :)

Aww..that is so cute. I'm 19 weeks and I usually feel my bumpkin rollin around and kicking everyday now. Which I can't believe, this is my first child and everybody says you don't feel it at first.

I don't think I ever felt either of my first two babies really "rolling" until much later in my pregancies.  With my first, I don't remember feeling it at all, but my second was a "mover."  As she less and less room, she would roll and flip.  There is no mistaking it when you are really far along because you will SEE the baby rolling right across your belly.  It is the most amazing thing!  (It used to completely freak out my husband...lol)  And to this day (she is now 3) that "baby" is still a mover....constantly, and we laugh and say, "Do you remember when she used to do that move in my/your belly?!?"  AMAZING!

Yeah, I guess that's what I felt this morning, it felt kinda like a gas bubble rolling around. Lol I hate this cuz you never know for sure that it was the baby and not just a gas bubble.

I posted to you on the pregnancy forum too, It feels like waves but mine feels like a cintraction but just in a spot and you can feel the harness of the baby rolling across the front of my belly. You will know the baby has rolled if the next time you feel a kick it is in a differnet spot.
