Cervix is thinned? 14 weeks pregnant

So i went to have my cervix checked today they told me that it was about 2.8 cm. They will recheck in 1 month and possibly need a stitch. Im so worried. Has anyone else been through this?

Some background info i had HPV when i was 16 and they did a cone biopsy. Which my gyn now is not happy about. But they will stitch it?

I had a similar problem with my twins and I was placed on bed rest. Well a week before they were born premature it got better. But the good news is under doctors care I have beautiful twin girls. I know it is hard to not worry but do your best. I will be praying for you.
