Thanks. Yes, I'm taking insulin three times per day, on a strict diet & testing my blood glucose four times per day. The doc did a bit of tweaking w/my #s this week, which I think caused my shakiness. I met w/them today & my #s look great :) I was hypoglycemic pre-pregnancy, so I did recognize that shaky feeling ;)
you need to watch your sugars real closely.. im a full blown diabetic and i am also 30 weeks pregnant.. i take 3 insulin shots a day. i can tell you that low sugar will cause you to be sick and shaky.. if you are taking insulin at night befor bed you may be bottoming out befor you get a chance to eat. as well as anytime befor a meal.. be sure to snack even just a cracker or two..
BradyAm: That doesn't sound like fun ;( I hope it gets better!
Claire: Thanks. That is interesting. I haven't felt nauseous since that morning, so I'm thinking it's just my body reacting to the insulin (or perhaps a combination). I felt very shaky this morning before lunch. I'll read more about third trimester insomnia because it's definitely difficult to sleep at night ;)
oh yeah i started feeling nauseous again starting last week (30 weeks now) itsw like morning sickness all over again and actually gets worse when i eat. i even get nauseous after drinking water! :( its very annoying. and its definately normal to be uncomfortable when babies move sometimes. my little Britton will kick me everywhere. ribs, bum, and vagina. get used to it! lol
<<also having trouble sleeping, especially with working
hi mommyin10
im 33weeks on fri and have been feeling very nauseous too but never actually sick for the past week now and my blood pressure keeps creeping up too so i have been put on bedrest but i can't actually sleep lucky if i get 4 hours out of 24 which is frustrating as i feel very tired but cant sleep i just lay there awake so today i was researching it on the net and its called 3rd trimester insomnia around 75% of pregant women suffer from it and some times it wont go away till after you give birth :( its mother natures way of getting us ready for these sleepless nights great stuff... Keep resting as its not long now for us :D :D
