babys postion op does this affect labour

so i had my 39 wk mw app 2day n she sed babys back was close to my back and babys position was op. she told me i need to get on ma hands and knees to try turn baby. does any 1 no wat wud happen if baby doesnt turn will it b more painfull or will i have to have a c section plaes help

if the baby stays facing forward there can be a lot more back pain. since her skull will be pushing on ur back instead of her (soft) face.

I think that it can sometimes make labour a bit more painful with lots of back pain...Sometimes I think it can be harder for you to push as well. I think some people don't have any trouble at all though. I hope baby turns :)
