vesectomy?

Is it recommended that he get a vesectomy while I'm still pregnant or wait till after baby?  Seems like it would be better before. .. But then I had a friend that her husband had it done while she was pregnant and she ended up having a still birth at 37 weeks. I know one has nothing to do with the other. ..I just don't want to jinx it :(

Vasectomies also take a couple of months to be effective, talk to his doc.  This is because sperm take a couple of months to form, and they can still be in the guy's system from before the vasectomy for a little while.

You can't have sex for a few-6 weeks after pregnancy I would recomend getting it at that time

If you think you can refrain from having sex unprotected after the baby comes, you could wait.  But if you think you won't be able to avoid unprotected sex, have the vasectomy before the baby is born.  It won't jinx the baby.  Tell your friend that a vasectomy can be reversed.
